STEP ONE - Look through the tōtara capability tree to identify what is relevant to your role now. What are your strengths and what are the areas for further development.
STEP TWO - Identify one area where you are skilled at mārama or mātau levels you could share with your team.
STEP THREE - Highlight two areas that you would like to develop to the mōhio, mārama or mātau levels. Write your goals in the action plan.
STEP FOUR - Kōrero with your manager or team lead to refine the goals. Ensure you have the support and resourcing to achieve them.
STEP FIVE - Copy and paste your goals into your PDR form to set a learning and development plan for the year ahead.
